Sustainability is firmly anchored in the fenaco cooperative. Seven key topics with fourteen measurable objectives have been defined along the dimensions of ecology, social affairs and economy. As a strategic business unit of the fenaco cooperative, we contribute to the annual achievement of these goals through our activities.
Increasing energy efficiency
We are committed to sustainable climate protection. By voluntarily participating in the programme of the Energy Agency for Industry (EnAW), we are committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimising energy efficiency at our Silo Olten and Auhafen plants.
Climate-friendly transport
We offer a wide range of logistics solutions and rely on rail transport. This is why we participate in the EnAW transport programme, thereby promoting the shift of goods from road to rail. In 2024, this enabled us to shift around 21’009’535 net tkm to rail and save 740 tonnes of CO2.
Commitment
We are a founding member of the Swiss Soya Network and are committed to the responsible sourcing of raw materials for feed and food production in Switzerland.
